She has held leadership roles at Embrella Cardiovascular (sold to Edwards Lifesciences), Animas (sold to J&J), Ventrica (sold to Medtronic) and Guidant Corporation. Ms. Burns has introduced disruptive therapies to the market including serration angioplasty, endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm, and endoscopic vein harvesting.
